Grand Theft Minecart

We still have a lot to do when it comes to vehicles, but to start we had a few of our vehicle models redone, as well as some changes to hopefully bring vehicles into the PvP Meta a little more.

Vehicles will no longer give you blindness when exiting the vehicle, we feel like this was too harsh of a nerf to vehicles, and essentially killed any playstyle associated with them. Despite this we realize some strategies involving vehicles can still be OP, so we also decided to remove the Gusenberg Sweeper out of all vehicles. (Looking back, this change somehow didn't make it in todays restart, so will be live tomorrow).

Vehicles will now spawn at certain points around the map, allowing players to use them in PvP, or for new players to stumble upon them!



We've also added some new vehicle models in! In total there are 5 new models, those being the BMX, Police Car, Primo, Akuma and the Zentorno.

(The BMX is only present on the 1.13+ pack, 1.11 and 1.10 will see the old BMX)








New players would often get lost at spawn before even making it out into the warzone, with this new tutorial, the player is told to escape the prison, and make it to the portal to begin their journey on GTM. If the players wish, along the way there is useful information about loot crates, trashcans, and warping! Even if the player runs by this, they still make it into the warzone, instead of being stuck at spawn!...​

It can be a pain to move loot from premium house to premium house, or find a head amount 20 different double chests, but worry no more, Premium House Vaults fix these issue, and more!

Premium House Vaults worked similar to the backpack, in that there is only one per player. You can access your vault while being in a premium house, meaning its the same throughout all your houses. Even if your house gets force-sold, and you lose all your houses, you loot is still safe!

Item Searching is a unique feature that comes with premium house vaults! Say you have a vault filled with all kinds of player heads, and want to find one, usually you would have to flip through each page to find it, but not anymore! Clicking the book icon opens up a search menu, and pulls up all items that start with your search!

Clicking the item will remove it from the vault, and Shift Clicking the item will bring you to the page that the item is on!

The Page Manager is another feature that lets you view all your vaults pages, useful stats, and navigate to them!

Gang's have never had a direct way to compete with each other, a way to show who the most dominant gang on GTM is, that all changes with Gang Territories. Gang Territories is a feature similar to King of the Kill, where you and your gang attempt to capture a territory denoted by a border, and have the opportunity to earn some juicy rewards! There are a lot of new mechanics being added, so lets dive in!



In order to capture a territory, you must have at least 3 gang members (this is subject to change) from your gang and outnumber all the other gangs in the territory, once these conditions are met, a gang will begin capturing the territory and gain a resistance boost, and the ability to teleport directly back to their territory! The speed the territory captures at depends on how many gang members are in the territory!

If at any point a gang outnumbers your gang, they will begin to attack it, and eventually remove your claim on the territory, and start their own, its up to you to defend it! If you manage to be the last one to have captured the territory, your gang gets access to the Gang Crate, which has similar rewards to a Tier 2 Supply Drop!



It might seem unfair that you can hold the territory for the entire time, and just have another gang swoop in and steal the gang crate at the end, but don't...​
